Young and the Restless Star Michelle Stafford’s Son’s Reaction To Her Fail Will Make You Laugh

Much like her hilarious video in which she took fans on an adventure to cover the cast on her foot so she could take a shower, The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford shared another adventure. This time, it was in the kitchen as she whipped up a dessert, but the true test of whether or not it was good was her son, Jameson.

She Was Eager to Make a Great Dish

Recently, Y&R’s Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “Keto-ish cheesecake. You be the judge.” The video itself was unique, as there was no talking, just Stafford narrating as if she were telepathically relaying the events depicted within. She began by saying, “Okay, you guys liked my last one, so I am making Keto Cheesecake. This is all over the internet. It looks like a good time. I’m gonna try it myself.”

She began combining the ingredients, explaining as she went along. “It is a cup of cottage cheese. Put it in the food processor,” she illustrated, then continued, “Greek yogurt, half a cup. Juice of a lemon (I put in more cream cheese because that’s just how I am).  One egg, and you’re supposed to do maple syrup but I used honey because I like that better.” As an aside, she hilariously noted, “It looks like this is the first time I’ve used [the food processor],” muttering, “It’s not.” She then explained that it wasn’t as sweet as she wanted, so she added extra honey.

She then showed what kind of dish it goes in and explained that it needed to be cooked for an hour (although she didn’t say at what temperature, we assume it is 350 degrees). She then poured everything into the bowl and said, “It looks like it’s gonna be a good time,” as she smashed raspberries, explaining that they would top the dessert. 

Not Quite How She Imagined It

With a hunk missing from the finished product, she stated, “I got too eager and just had to taste it. And, it doesn’t really rise that well, but Jameson is the true test.”

Her son, Jameson, could be seen standing next to mom to try out her new dessert. “Let’s see how he feels,” she said as the kid took a bite. She slowed the video, remarking, “I had to slow it down. Look at his real reaction.”

In super slo-mo, Jameson does not look happy as the taste starts to make its way into his brain. “Listen, it’s not good. Don’t let anyone fool you, it’s not good,” she said as she gave it a thumbs down while her son looked as if the food might try to escape his body soon. “But if you’re dying for…something…it’s an okay substitute.”

Jameson’s reaction was hilarious, especially when he also gave it a thumbs down as he tried to choke down what can only be imagined as something inedible.

Stafford’s former castmate, Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), responded, “Jameson’s face!!!!” while Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe, Y&R) wrote, “Hahaha you needed a “wait till the end“ 🤣🤣🤣,” and Stafford’s other Y&R co-star, Tracey Bregman (Lauren), simply responded, “😂😂😂😂😂.”

Fans praised Stafford for her continuous run of funny videos, and we can’t wait for the next one!
