Michelle Stafford has been playing Phyllis on The Young and the Restless for the better part of three decades. Throughout that time, she and her co-stars have made plenty of memories, some of which she’s now sharing.

Key Takeaways

  • Stafford shared an old photo of her and her co-stars.
  • The photo had Stafford and fans reflecting on Y&R’s past.
  • Many of her co-stars have since departed the show.

Glory Days

As a member of Y&R, Stafford is part of one big family. Throughout the years, she’s formed bonds with many of her co-stars. Some who are still with the show, and some she’s had to say goodbye to.

Recently, the actress came across an old photo of her, Michael Graziadei, Greg Rikaart, Christian Le Blanc, and the late Jeanne Cooper. The group was all smiles as they goofed around on set for a photoshoot. The picture brought back many memories for Stafford, who shared it on her Instagram page.

“I know it’s not #TBT but I am cleaning out a room today and came across this picture. I had to share,” Stafford wrote. “Oh my gosh, I love it so much!!! I love all these people so much. These were beautiful, beautiful days❤️.”

Stafford’s post not only had her feeling sentimental, but also her followers. “I miss old Y&R… those were the best days,” wrote one fan. “Oh such precious memories and people!❤️” one follower replied. “Love this so much. Everyone in the photo makes me smile♥️♥️,” one commenter wrote.

Time Have Changed

A lot has changed on Y&R since the days of Stafford and her castmates’ photo shoot. While Stafford, Le Blanc, and Graziadei are still on the show, they’ve had to say goodbye to many of their co-stars. Rikaart, who plays reformed villain Kevin Fisher, spends most of his time on Days of Our Lives as Leo Stark (and co-hosts CBS’s Soapy podcast).

And Cooper, who played the iconic Katherine Chancellor, passed away in 2013.

Photos like the ones Stafford shared bring back fond memories of Y&R’s history. Although many cast members come and go, the show and the cast continue on to bring entertainment and drama to fans. And there are going to be many more memories to create for Stafford and co.
