Lucy is an intriguing character who’s experienced a lot. In just this year alone, she’s experienced many ups and downs. She witnessed her parents getting back together. Now, she’s grieving the loss of her mom on The Young and the Restless. Her picture-perfect family was ripped away from her. That pain could easily be channeled into hate.
Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is currently the resident villain of Genoa City. Nobody knows that she escaped prison once again. The Newmans will have to ship Jordan off to a remote island if they don’t want to see or hear from her ever again.
But Jordan always manages to find a way back. This time, she has a new sidekick. Jordan returned with resident bad boy Ian Ward (Ray Wise). The two are responsible for the havoc they caused in Sharon’s (Sharon Case) life. She believed that she was responsible for Heather’s (Vail Bloom) and Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) car wreck.
Meanwhile, the Romalotti family agreed that Sharon was the problem. It seemed obvious since she’s been trying to get revenge on Daniel (Michael Graziadei). Unsurprisingly, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) recently fell out with her friend Faith (Reylyn Caster) over her mom’s wicked ways. Yet, Lucy could be the evil one in the making.

Jordan might enjoy being the resident villain. But eventually, a new generation of villains will have to emerge. After all, Jordan will get tired of scheming and being on the run. Someone will have to fill her shoes at some point.
Lucy would be the perfect villain. She already has animosity toward Sharon because of what happened to her mother. Even when she finds out that it wasn’t Sharon who killed Heather, she will still feel some type of way.
Those complex feelings don’t go away overnight. Besides, Lucy is related to Phyllis and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Crazy already runs in her family. She could never escape her heritage. But would she be willing to embrace her crazy side?

Daniel and Lucy want to leave Genoa City. They want to have a fresh start. But it would be fun to see Lucy embrace her dark side. It’s exactly what this show needs. It would bring the “young” back into Y&R again. Plus, Lucy could team up with another bad girl.
