Joshua Morrow had high praise for his co-stars Michelle Stafford and Sharon Case. Both ladies are killing it on The Young and the Restless. They’re involved in a new, messy storyline that includes a murder mystery. Morrow shared his thoughts on this soapy drama involving all three classic characters.
Deadly Liaisons
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been entangled with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) for decades. But, this is a new storyline for him. Sharon recently confessed to Nick that she was responsible for Heather’s (Vail Bloom) murder. She tampered with the scene of the crime and framed Phyllis’ son, Daniel (Michael Grazadei).
Sharon also believes that she was responsible for running Phyllis off the road, which led to her fiery crash. (Check Out Stafford’s BTS Video.) However, Sharon blacked out during those moments.
In a stunning twist, it was revealed that Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) were both responsible for those crimes. The truth has yet to come out.
In an interview with Michael Fairman TV, Morrow revealed what it was like to work with Stafford and Case in a new way. He praised both ladies, calling Stafford “one of my homies” and “an incredible talent.” Morrow added, “She’s been an incredible scene partner. She taught me how to be like a leading man.”
Case’s Challenging New Role
Y&R fans have praised Sharon’s complex role. Morrow agrees with them. He praises her for tackling this emotionally exhausting storyline, which is not easy to do for 10-12 hours per day, day in and day out.
“But what she’s doing right now, some of the taxing days that she’s had to go through in order to do it, the amount of dialogue, the range of emotions, everything, I don’t think there’s anyone on our show other than Sharon Case who could have effectively done as well as she has,” he noted.
Morrow commended his co-star for her stunning work. He loves the messiness of this storyline, especially as Nick finds himself in the middle of his exes. “It’s exactly what we all want, right? We (the audience) want those three people in each other’s orbit, making it messy and complicated,” Morrow added. (Find out which Newman brother could reunite with Sharon.)
