Great news! Jess Walton is bringing Jill back to The Young and the Restless! Daniel Goddard (Cane) broke the news on his Twitter page that the Emmy-winning Walton is back at Y&R!
Walton’s appearances on the show have been sadly sporadic over the last few years after the actress started spending more and more time at her new home in Orgeon.
No word on if Jill’s rascally husband, Colin Atkinson, will be returning with her. While Walton’s appeared less on the show in recent years, her presence on daytime has been deeply felt.
In August, the show held an on-set celebration for Walton, who celebrated 30 years this year as Jill.
In April, Walton attended the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She won the award twice–in 1991 and 1997 for Outstanding Supporting Actress and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, respectively.
Y&R has kept the Chancellor mansion inhabited by having Cane and Juliet move in, but that could soon change in light of Walton’s return!
