Young and the Restless’ Jason Thompson Carves Out ‘Extra’ Time for Extreme Passion

Soap actors are busy. Their days are packed with filming. Such is the case for The Young and the Restless star Jason Thompson. He carved out “extra” time from his busy schedule to focus on his passion. He took fans along with him. Buckle up because it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Heading to the Desert

Thompson reposted a video from Rancho West Organic Beer, which featured him in their latest footage on Instagram. When he’s not playing bad boy Billy Abbott on Y&R, he has a need for extreme sports. Thompson went for beers and dirt bikes with his friends. He had to set aside time to make this magical moment happen.

“Life can be busy—sometimes even hectic. It can be tough to carve out any ‘extra’ time for our passions,” Thompson explained. “Yet, these moments spent with friends, laughing and eating dust, enrich our lives in every way.”

The soap star wouldn’t have it any other way. It was worth it. Thompson hit the desert with his friends. They visited the new charging outpost in Joshua Tree, where they had a session at the Palm Spring Sur Club. The group got together for beers and good times. They also hit the surf, as evidenced in the video.

They also had good digs. Thompson thanked Ace Hotel Palm Springs for the “warm hospitality.” He teased that more was to come. “Cheers to the friends who make it all possible. Here’s to more adventures ahead—stay tuned and join us! 🍻💨🌵🌊” Thompson concluded his Instagram post.

Y&R fans flocked to the post to share their thoughts. Most of them were revved up by his extreme passion. One user commented, “This looks EPIC.” Another user noted, “That’s AWESOME 👏 dirt. 🏍️ 🍺 🏄‍♂️”
