The Young and the Restless heavily focuses on Sharon this week and her quest to poison Daniel. This haunting storyline could bring Daisy back. She won’t be happy to hear about Sharon’s doing with the love of her life.
What’s Going On With Sharon?
Sharon (Sharon Case) hasn’t been herself lately. Ever since she’s been off her meds, she’s been hallucinating and acting erratically. She can hear Cameron (Linden Ashby), encouraging her to poison Daniel (Michael Graziadei).
She tried to make her dark thoughts go away, but there were moments when she blacked out and did things she didn’t want to do. On the Thursday, September 26th episode, Sharon had decided not to poison Daniel, and she’d cleaned up the mess she’d made. As she left, she came face to face with Heather (Vail Broom).
At one point, she confronted Heather. Later, Sharon blacked out and possibly knocked Heather out cold. Heather could become collateral damage in Sharon’s plan to ruin Daniel. Here’s how this storyline could bring Daisy Carter (Yvonne Zima) back into the mix.
What Happened to Daisy?
Daisy played dead when Ricky Williams (Peter Porte) tried to kill her. Later, checked into Fairview under a pseudonym. At one point, she overdosed on pills and went into a coma. A woman claiming to be her mother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), checked her out of rehab. Daisy has been gone ever since.
Sharon could come face to face with Daisy when she hides Heather’s body. Daisy won’t be happy to find out about Sharon’s revenge plot. It’s likely she’s still in love with Daniel and would want to protect him.
A New Love Interest for Daniel?
It looks like Sharon left Heather for dead. Daniel might need a new love interest in the next few months. Daisy would be the perfect woman to bring back onto the show.
She could be there for Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) as she mourns the loss of Heather, and she’s actually Lucy’s biological mom. Daisy and Daniel’s trauma bond could bring them closer together. This would be a good time for the CBS soap to revisit their romance.
