Here’s What Courtney Hope Thinks of Sally and Audra’s Friendship on Young and the Restless

Sally Spectra has endured many ups and downs on The Young and the Restless. No matter what happens, she still has someone in her corner. Courtney Hope spoke about Sally’s bond with Audra.

These strong women get along so well. Sally bonded with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) over their heartbreaks and business woes. Audra was even there for Sally after Adam (Mark Grossman) cheated on her with Chloe (Melissa Claire Egan). 

In true Audra fashion, she told Sally to get back in the saddle. However, Sally would rather focus on herself. These women formed a powerful bond that made them stronger. In an interview with Soaps in Depth, Hope shared that Audra is Sally’s strongest relationship. 

Hope feels that Audra is the perfect balance for Sally. She has a “rebellious side,” and Sally doesn’t question it. Yet, it was their loneliness that brought them together. Audra feels like she doesn’t need anybody, while Sally has always been a loner in Genoa City.

Dynamic Duo

In her interview, Hope teased that Sally and Audra could become a powerful duo. She explained, “Because they’re both very strong women, and you don’t want to cross them!” They could form an alliance soon. Despite their career setbacks, they’re both driven and ambitious. It would be fun to see them work together in some form.

Sally and Audra have more in common than they realize. They also bring out the best in each other. Sally could rely on Audra when she needs “a little bit more chutzpah and strength.” Meanwhile, Audra could seek inspiration from Sally to bring out her compassionate side. Eventually, she could convince Audra that “love can be a beautiful thing.”

This could mean that Audra will finally explore a deeper relationship with Nate (Sean Dominic). Meanwhile, Sally could be convinced to have a fun fling with Billy (Jason Thompson) to get over Adam.
