The Young and the Restless is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month, and as part of the momentous occasion, stars of the CBS soap opera have reminisced about their favorite scenes. These iconic moments in Y&R history are this week’s Flashback Friday.

Young and the Restless: 50 Years Of Memorable Moments

Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) kicked off the soap’s series by introducing one of her favorite scenes. In it, Nikki believes Victor (Eric Braeden) is dead, and he reveals himself to her, making for a big reunion for the unlikely couple.

Next came Braeden’s scene, and in it, Victor and Nick (Joshua Morrow) confront Victor’s father, Albert Miller (George Kennedy). The moment is pivotal for The Mustache.

Next, Kate Linder shares her favorite scene featuring Esther Valentine, and the maid shows off some talent after Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) introduced her as a friend.

Lauralee Bell explained how much she loved The Young and the Restless and that her parents created it. Her scene revealed a special moment between Christine and Paul (Doug Davidson), which you can watch below.

Tracey Bregman introduced her favorite moment from Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s life, and it happened to be when Michael (Christian Le Blanc) created a wonderful casino game-themed proposal.

For Eileen Davidson, her favorite moment as Ashley Abbott came amidst the rain, where she and Victor had an emotional argument about something she’d done.

Beth Maitland reminded viewers that her on-screen alter ego, Traci Abbott, used to be a rock-and-roll singer. The scene featured Traci from the 1980s performing in a concert.

Jess Walton revealed that she loved a rather hilarious scene that featured Jill at Fenmore’s when Lauren and Michael essentially caught her right after having some adult time in the office. Hilarity ensued, and you can relive it in the video below.

Finally, one of Peter Bergman’s favorite moments as Jack Abbott included Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). In the scene, Phyllis unsuccessfully tried to convince Jack she no longer loved him, but she simply couldn’t, so they got engaged. Let us know your favorite Y&R moment in the comments section below.
