Eva Longoria may not be seen as Young and the Restless‘s Isabella any longer, however, her fans can see her in both some upcoming projects and on the red carpet. The actress recently shared a secret from one of her first big international press lines.
Oh Yes, She Cannes
Longoria attended red carpet events during her time on Y&R but that was only the beginning. It may be hard to believe but it was 20 (!) years ago that she was cast as supermodel Gabrielle Solis, a housewife who was sleeping with her gardener, John, played by Jesse Metcalfe (ex-Miguel, Passions; ex-Christopher, Dallas).
The show exploded in popularity and viewers were glued to their sets watching the women of Wisteria Lane live their lives that were, at times, desperate. Recently, Longoria shared a red carpet look from a while back that showed off her stunning figure.
“TBT [Throw Back Thursday] to this $40 dress I wore to my first Cannes red carpet,” Longoria shared on Instagram. “Proof that it’s not the dress, but the woman who wears it!!”

Longoria’s post resulted in some terrific responses from her followers. “Tell me you kept it! What a stunner you are,” wrote maryamnyc. Added pinktexaschik: “Yes, please tell us you still have it!”

Last year, Longoria made her feature film debut as a director with the movie Flamin’ Hot.
