Audra lost everything in her life. She doesn’t have a business deal or a romance. On the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, she tearfully begged for Nate’s forgiveness. Zuleyka Silver teased how her on-screen alter ego is planning to win him over.
Not Giving Up
Audra has been spiraling more than scheming these days. Even though everyone wants her out of town, she’s refusing to leave. Now, she’s got a new fight on her hands. (Did Audra win after all on Y&R?)
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Silver teased that Audra wants to get Nate (Sean Dominic) back. In a conversation with Sally (Courtney Hope), Audra realized that she could love him.
“I think she’s like, ‘Wait, I actually have more feelings for this man than I thought,'” Silver said. “She doesn’t really know why he’s so important to her yet, but I think she’s realizing now that he was sort of an anchor to her, and he made her better.”
On Thursday’s episode, Nate walked in with Amy (Valarie Pettiford), which made Audra emotional. She missed the sweet little family unit they once had. But she believed that the romance was already gone until Sally encouraged her to open up to him.
A Little Honesty
How will Audra win Nate back? By finally being honest with him. Silver admitted that her onscreen persona is still “lying” to him about what happened. (Should Y&R’s Nate forgive Audra?)
If she truly wants to win his heart, she’s going to have to be honest. She’s looking forward to the audience seeing Audra in a “vulnerable” and “raw” state.
Most of the time, she keeps her cards close to her chest and knows what cunning words to say. Audra and Nate’s interaction was awkward. However, Silver enjoys her scenes with Dominic.
She admitted that it was “rewarding” because both of them were “very raw and sad and everything.” Audra realized that if she wanted to prove her love to Nate, she would have to face the consequences of her actions and let down her guard with him.
