Is Ashley losing her mind? All the seeds of doubt are there for her, but is that her reality or part of Tucker’s big plan to destroy Ashley after she bailed on their business and marriage partnerships? On the Thursday, February 1 episode of The Young and the Restless, Ashley and Traci went back to the Paris bistro to get the truth.
Of course, leading up to the sisters showing up to question the waitstaff, Tucker (Trevor St. John) called to leave Ashley (Eileen Davidson) a voicemail (See how she got the idea for this trip here). In it, he taunted her about what she was doing. Traci (Beth Maitland) attempted to get her sister to leave and let the whole thing go, but Ashley insisted she had to know.
When Ashley found the waiter, he told her that Tucker had been very angry. However, the server said that he hadn’t gotten violent. That news infuriated Ashley, and she asked the waiter how much Tucker had paid him to lie. He insisted he told the truth. Traci tried to calm her sister, but Ashley took off without a word.
Out in the streets of Paris (or rather on a green screen), Ashley angrily called Tucker to confront him. He laughed as Ashley accused him of paying off the waiter and gaslighting her. She seemed so convinced, but her mental state also deteriorated during that. So, it seemed that Tucker was either winning his game of making her think she was losing her mind, or she really was losing her mind…either way, Ashley loses.
Traci tried to call Jack (Peter Bergman), but he was otherwise occupied with Victor showing up and finding him with a previously drunken Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). In all, it wasn’t a great day for the Abbott siblings.
