Abby Newman and Chance Chancellor had barely dated on The Young and the Restless before they were talking about having a baby…and soon they married, and then Chance took off for parts unknown.
Young and the Restless Polling
He was gone for the duration of Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) pregnancy and for his son, Dominic’s, birth. Then he was declared dead. Then Abby (Melissa Ordway) went looking for him and brought him home. To his wife, to his family, to his son…and to the ghosts he failed to leave behind. Now the couple is struggling. Will they be able to make it for the long haul? What over 2,000 voters told us:
Y&R: Talk To Me
They love each other, they have lots of support, and they should be able to stay the course, 66% of you insist. But only if they get some serious professional help. Chance (Conner Floyd) is obviously in need of therapy, and Abby (Melissa Ordway) needs to learn how to be there for him. Yes, it’s not a great time, with Dominic also needing medical attention, but better now than later, when the stress of their baby’s illness will only make Chance’s mental issues worse.
Young and the Restless: End of the Road
Chance is not the man Abby married, 25% of the audience is sad to admit. He’s been changed too much by the experiences he suffered overseas. The couple who said their I Do’s was a different pair of people. After everything they both went through, Chance in battle, Abby with the baby, they’re no longer compatible.
Y&R: Forever and a Day
They’re fine, 9% shrug. Love is forever. That’s why so many of the couples in Genoa City keep breaking up and making up. Would they do that if their love wasn’t till death do us part? Chance and Abby will totally be the same. Just watch.
