Summer Newman and Fenmore Baldwin have a complicated history on The Young and the Restless.

He’s saved her life – at the cost of his own freedom. He pissed off her husband, Austin. (Remember when Summer was married?)

They were also involved in the Great Cabin Shenanigans of 2015, where all the hot young people of Genoa City, including an earlier incarnation of Kyle and the current version of Mariah (Camryn Grimes), ended up in a cabin where drugging and kissing and dying commenced.

The two went their separate ways after that, but now Fen (Zach Tinker) is back in Genoa City, a former law student turned singing sensation (if only in his own mind).

And Summer (Hunter King) is back in all her glory, wanting Kyle — and using Fen.

We don’t see it, 57% of the audience cocks their heads and squints. Summer has been spinning in different circles. Her affair with Billy took her out of the young, twentysomething pool and into a more adult one. Fen, even though he might be older, still seems like a kid.

Besides, Fen’s got eyes for Lola (Sasha Calle), and Summer last threw herself at Kyle. She and Fen can get together to break up the happy couple, but that doesn’t mean they need to hook up themselves.
