Keeping the Faith…Or Aging Her? What Should The Young and the Restless (YR) Do?

On The Young and the Restless (YR), Faith’s dad, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) was SORAS-ed. So was her Aunt Victoria (Amelia Heinle). So was her Aunt Abby (Melissa Ordway).

So was her cousin Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), and his friends, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), and Faith’s brother Noah (Robert Adamson).

So, why should Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) be exempt? Has YR reached the end of her little-girl cuteness? Should Faith skip awkward adolescence, and head straight for sexy bombshell? How almost 3,000 of you would feel about that:

Move It On Up!
We’ve had enough of adorable Faith who can do no wrong and whom everyone loves, a bored 62% of you fume. There’s just so many times you can listen to her whine about her pony, and make goo-goo eyes at Victor (Eric Braeden).

If Faith were SORASed, she could get some real story.

And she could, like every other Newman before her, inevitably disappoint Victor, so he can scheme to teach her a valuable lesson for her own good. You know, like he did with Uncle Adam (Justin Hartley)…

You Gotta Have Faith!
No, we don’t need another Faith, 37% of the audience objects. Genoa City is full of scheming bombshells, their puppy love crushes and teenage angst. It’s nice to have sweet, innocent Faith as a tonic from all that.

Plus, yes, of course, a grown up Faith will one day disappoint Victor and prompt him to manipulate her the way he does everyone else. You just want to keep that day from coming for as long as possible.

Let Lind grow in her role the way Camryn Grimes (Cassie/Mariah) was allowed to. That makes anything that happens to her resonate so much more! You do want to see Faith join the grownups of Genoa City… eventually. Not now.
