The Young and the Restless is gearing up to celebrate its 12,000th episode — a huge feat made possible since the show premiered back in 1973. One of its brightest stars today wouldn’t even be born for 20 more years but Hunter King, who plays Summer Newman, is more than willing to help them mark the incredible achievement.

The official Twitter account for The Young and the Restless has been sharing special videos paying tribute to the show’s longevity and the one posted on Wednesday featured King in a very special way.

“With 12,000 episodes, #YR has so many iconic styles to look back on! In honor of the 12,000th episode, @HunterHaleyKing reminisces about one of her favorites – Summer’s bridal look in her wedding to Kyle Abbott. 👰 What’s been your favorite Y&R wedding dress?”

In the attached video, King opens up about how her character’s style has evolved over the years she’s been in Genoa City saying, “When she was younger, she was more edgy.” King first joined the show in 2012 as the newly aged daughter of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). She then goes on to describe the different styles Summer has had.

The Daytime Emmy winner then brings up a recent look that she absolutely loved. “One of my most recent favorite one was when Summer was undercover and spying on Kyle [Michael Mealor], and she was wearing this kind of Carmen Sandiego hat. It was kind of Summer’s ‘Ingognito look'” revealed the actress laughing, as she used air quotes.

“And I thought it was so funny but also really fun and kind of cute. I was having a hard time taking myself seriously in the hat cause I never wear hats, it just felt so funny,” she revealed. You can watch the video below to see what else she had to say about Summer’s style. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
