Now that Victor Newman knows his son-in-law faked his terminal illness on The Young and the Restless, he knows it’s his responsibility to set the situation right again.
Young and the Restless Polling
No one else can be trusted with such an important task. So how should Victor (Eric Braeden) handle the delicate manner? What almost 2,000 viewers had to say:
Quiet Conquest
Young and the Restless’s Victor is so smart, he can figure out a way to squash Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) without the man ever seeing him coming. It’s better that way. And Victor shouldn’t let Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) get an inkling of what he’s up to, 74% advise. Otherwise, she might consider siding with her husband over her father. And Victor doesn’t want to put his precious little girl in such an uncomfortable position. He’ll make the decision for her. It’s the least Daddy can do.
Young and the Restless: Truth and Consequences
But Victoria might not appreciate what her father has done for her, 22% of fans sigh. She’s like that, you know. It would be better if Victor were to sit Vicky down and explain all the ways in which he knows better what’s best for her. That way, she will happily get out of the way once her father has her husband in his cross-hairs.
Victor of Old
Just tossing Ashland out of Newman-Locke and depriving him of the companies he founded isn’t enough of a punishment, 4% of The Young and the Restless audience insists. Victor needs to go back to his past for an appropriate punishment. Perhaps – and we’re just spit-balling, here – Victor could lock Ashland up in his basement and torture him for several weeks. He’s done it before and escaped with absolutely no legal consequences. Victor loves to brag about his boxing prowess. He could invite Ashland into the ring to do a go a few rounds, too. After all, money is such an impersonal way to show your displeasure for a personal affront.
