Sure, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) was technically in a relationship with Nate’s (Sean Dominic) cousin, Devon (Bryton James). But, hey, overdoses are hot!

Elena’s guilt eventually drove her to confess all to Devon. He dumped her. Nate thought that opened the door to a real relationship. Elena isn’t so sure. How about you? Here’s what over 2,000 fans told us:

It was a real photo finish but, in the end, a tiny majority of 51% said no to the match. Anything that starts off so skeezy has no chance of ending well. If Elena cheated on Devon with Nate, she’ll likely cheat on Nate with someone else.

Plus, there’s the fact that Nate holds Devon responsible for the injury that made it so he might never be able to operate again. How long until that resentment boils over at Elena, as well? This relationship cannot be saved, which is why it should never start, just to be on the safe side.

Go For It

Then again, it was only a slightly smaller 49% of the audience that wants these two crazy kids to go for it! OK, so the start wasn’t optimal, but the fact that they had sex even when both knew Elena was otherwise engaged proves there was a serious physical attraction there. Add to that they genuinely like each other and have lots in common, and this begins to look like a better and better match.
