Boy Bye: Do You Think Lily Is Right To Divorce Cane On The Young And The Restless?

Telling Mattie and Charlie on The Young and the Restless that she’s getting a divorce from their lyin’, cheatin’ dad Cane shows that Lily is serious about moving on with her life!

But, is she doing the right thing? Soap Hub asked Y&R fans to weigh in on whether Lily (Christel Khalil) is making the correct decision or not.

Living Separate Lives
Cane (Daneil Goddard) and Lily fans are passionately loyal to the pair, but just under 55% of you feel that it’s time for her to move on and start a new life. She’s still young (hey, she’s really young — those kids were aged overnight into teenagers!) and has time to lead a fulfilling life with someone else. Maybe Jordan?

Or, maybe she could spend time by herself and reflect on what she wants in life. Maybe she’ll go back to Cane? Or decide to stay single?

There are no rules that say you have to be in a relationship.

Cane And Able
While the majority of you feel that Lily should move on, the rest of you, a smidge over 45%, feel that Lily should work on her marriage to Cane.

He certainly didn’t throw the towel in when she slept with Joe Clark, did he? No, the couple worked out their differences.

We’re not saying that the writers will tweak things and reveal that Cane isn’t the father of Juliet’s baby, but wouldn’t it be better if Cane and Lily agreed to work on their marriage before that were to happen? That way, they’ll always know they stayed together because they wanted to — not because Cane might not be Juliet’s baby daddy.
