On The Young and the Restless, we heard about Tara Locke for months before we actually saw her. Then we actually saw her. She came, she lied, she flirted, she schemed. She got hauled off to jail in handcuffs.

Celebrate The Good Times

Good riddance to bad rubbish, 68% of the audience cheers. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was right from Day One, and we couldn’t be happier that she finally drove the harpy out of town. We never understood what Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) was doing in Genoa City, anyway.

Everyone knows that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) are the truest love that ever has or ever will love. No one could break them apart. We’re happy Tara will no longer be around to keep trying.

The Young and the Restless: Is That All There Is?

After all that build-up, that’s it, 25% wonder? She was plotting personally, she was plotting professionally, she brought Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), one of the few business people Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) actually respects, to town, and that’s…it? What an ignominious way to go. Please tell us there’s more to this vixen, or else we’ll feel like we were bait and switched.

Too Early

Oh, no, 7% of you cry! Tara was shaping up to be such a fabulous villainess! She was playing Kyle, she was scheming with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she was oh, so obviously flirting with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and we’re still not sure that she and Ashland didn’t set this whole thing up for their own purposes. Why get rid of her now, when she had the potential to become the next Jill Foster (Jess Walton) and run roughshod over Genoa City for years to come?
