Kyle is feeling pretty smug on The Young and the Restless. He has a cute son, a fiancée who claims she is perfectly fine with that, a woman who cheated on her wealthy husband with irresistible Kyle, and a family company where he rose right to the top of the professional ladder simply by virtue of his birthright.
This is a man who can handle anything! Why he can even take on the Locke Ness Monster himself! What over 2,000 viewers really think about that:
Almost three-quarters of you – 74% – got a good chuckle out of Kyle (Michael Mealor) standing up to Ashland (Richard Burgi). Not only did he keep swallowing like he was about to cry, not only did his voice shake and his eyes dart nervously from side to side, but all he could do was throw around empty threats.
Now that Ashland seems to have given in and promised not to fight for custody of Harrison as long as Tara agreed to share the boy, Kyle actually thinks he’s won something. Why do we think this isn’t the end…but just the beginning?
Oh, come on, 20% of the audience virtually pats Kyle on the head. Give the little guy a chance. He may grow into the role and act like a big boy yet! He is a father now. How would Harrison feel if he saw one of his daddies cowering before the other? Harrison might encourage Kyle to grow up!
Only 6% have confidence in Kyle. Well, technically, you have confidence in the Abbott family. John (Jerry Douglas) was awesome. Jack (Peter Bergman) is awesome. So is Ashley (Eileen Davidson).
Surely, some of that must have trickled down to Kyle? And, if not, there’s always his family’s money to fall back on. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
