A month after he passed away, Kristoff St. John was laid to rest in a ceremony that was attended by family, friends, and colleagues.
The memorial held to celebrate the life of St. John, who played Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless, took place on Monday at the Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, Calif.
Many familiar faces in the daytime world were in attendance, including St. John’s former Y&R leading lady Victoria Rowell (ex-Dru) and former TV brother Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm).
The actor passed away on Sunday, February 3. Those close to him say he’d been despondent over the death of his son, Julian, who died in 2014.
“Our beloved #KristoffStJohn is laid to rest,” posted Rowell. “The family shared the day with so many. The ceremony was beautiful as was the angelic voice of @kennylattimore.”
“A beautiful memorial for a truly beautiful soul, our dear Kristoff St John… Too, too soon… Peace xoxo,” wrote actor Vincent Irizarry.
The Instagram account belonging to Official_Neil_Winters_Fan_Page posted a video from inside the memorial featuring a slide show of St. John from over the years.
Soap Hub sends deep condolences to St. John’s family, friends, and loved ones at this time.
