Summer, Kyle, Dylan, and Lola on The Young and the Restless

Tis the season to be jolly on The Young and the Restless, and while the characters are dreaming of sugarplums and a white Christmas (it’s Wisconsin, odds are good), the fans also have some ideas of what they’d like to see for the holidays.

After all, the season is all about love and families. With that in mind, Y&R voters gave us their thoughts on dreams of a Christmas future:

Homecoming

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) have suffered enough living in the land of pasta, gelato, and gorgeous artwork. It’s time to return to Genoa City. In the dead of winter. Or so say 43% of you. It’s not just Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) crying bitter tears into their pillow at the thought of a grown child moving away from home. It’s so many viewers also missing the happy newlyweds.

The Young and the Restless: Remember Me?

Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has been way too complacent lately. She and husband Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) have barely been married a year, and they’re already residing in snooze-ville. You know what could make their lives – and thus, ours – more interesting, 29% of the audience wonders.

The return of Sharon’s last husband, Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton). He wandered off into the night on a top-secret government mission – hey, did he run into Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) while he was at it?. And something tells us, he is available to return.

Little Sister

A slightly smaller 28% are aching to see Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) make her way back home. Especially if Summer and Kyle are returning, too. After all, based on his stupid behavior over the past few years, Kyle is right on target to have his bi-annual realization that the woman he just recently called the love of his life and married isn’t actually the one. He needs his previous girlfriend back. She was the one he’s been pining for all along.
