Fans Take on Faith and Her Meddling – Do You Agree?

On The Young and the Restless (YR), young Faith is always in the middle of the action in Genoa City.

Although she’s still a kid, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) spends most of her time hobnobbing with adults. Heck, her favorite person to play chess with is her grandfather, Victor (Eric Braeden).

And she seems to have a huge say in the lives of her parents, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case). She expressed her discontent over Nick’s new romance with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and totally blamed Sharon when Dylan skipped town.

Over 7500 fans of The Young and the Restless weighed in, when Soap Hub asked if you think Faith involved herself in adult situations way too often.

Yes, She Needs to Back Off
Faith needs some serious boundaries, say 88% of you, who feel the child has way too much to say when it comes to adult situations.

You think that Faith should be reprimanded more and put in her place by her parents. When she opposes someone they’re dating, she should be told to butt out.

And the way she chastised Sharon when Dylan left GC was wrong. Faith should have been punished for speaking to her mother so rudely. She gets away with far too much.

No, She’s a Precocious Child
Some 7% of you don’t find anything wrong with Faith speaking her mind. She’s a smart and mature girl, who’s always surrounded by adults. Plus, she’s been through a lot in her young life.

The poor kid has grown up in a broken home and has had to deal with quite a few stepparents. She should be allowed to express her thoughts about any and all of it.

Sometimes Yes, Sometimes No
The remaining 5% of you are torn over Faith’s involvement in adult situations. You can understand her voicing an opinion every now and then, and you’re fine with that.

However, sometimes it gets a little out of hand. In those situations, you wish her parents would remind her who’s in charge and give her a time out.
