When Ashley got on that plane to Paris last fall, we thought that would be the last we’d see of her for a long, long time. But it turns out it won’t even be six months as Eileen Davidson will be back on The Young and the Restless in March.
That’s right, the fight for Jabot might come right down to Ashley during a short visit with her family. Davidson had said she might consider returning for brief appearances, and it looks like she meant it.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Davidson will be back on our Genoa City screens on March 28 and 29. What Ashley visits for is anyone’s guess, but with Jack, Billy, and Kyle deciding to put their cosmetics company back in Abbott hands, Ashley might be needed.
Of course, she could also return for her daughter Abby’s wedding to Arturo if that ever happens. What kind of mother of the bride would she be if she wasn’t there for her only child’s wedding? (After lusting after the groom at Abby’s last wedding.)
Davidson tells Digest of the return:
“I said on my last day that I would love to come back for a visit, and I was lucky enough to have [new head writer] Josh Griffith take me up on my offer. It’s always great to see my YR family.”
