The General Hospital recap for Monday, February 25 features Jason and Drew being the last two twins to go blind, but for some reason the soap didn’t want to show us this.
In what can only be called Mal Young General Hospital (after the former executive producer of The Young and the Restless), the show left us with an intense Friday cliffhanger… and picked up the next morning.
We waited and waited for Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Billy Miller) to finally go blind, and when it did, we couldn’t experience it with them. Heck, neither one of them knew it even happened because when they woke in the hospital, they could see again.
Say what, now? So, Jason and Drew missed the whole twin blindness experience and had the surgery to fix it before they were the wiser. Now, that’s a health care system Soap Hub can get into.
Jason got to hang out in the hospital with Carly IV (Laura Wright) and Drew got to hang with Carly II… we mean, Kim (Tamara Braun)… so it’s all good. The Carly we know today even told Jason she’s pregnant and spent a few moments jealous because Jason is now friends with Anna (?).
As for Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry), well, she also had surgery before we could blink. She seemed in pretty bad shape, but Curtis (Donnell Turner) was cool with Drew. Accidents happen. Again, we’re just shaking our heads.

Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) continued her ruse with Shiloh (Coby Ryan MacLaughlin), painting Jason as the obsessive and possessive type, which totally sounds just like Jason.
As for poor Anna (Finola Hughes), she just had to know if maybe, just maybe she is remembering something she knows she’d never do (cause ick) that Alex actually did instead. Boy, would that change the whole last year of everything.
Oh, Peter (Wes Ramsey). Were we talking about you? We’re not sure. Anyway, Peter hung out with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) at The Metro Court and they learned Maxie took the wrong nail samples.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) also surprised Peter by asking him to be his best man and apologizing for giving him away all those years ago because… wait, who gave birth to him again?
