It’s been a decade since Lily and Cane met, quickly feel in love and, in time, decided to tie the knot on The Young and the Restless.
Their relationship hasn’t been without its obstacles. Initially, Lily’s (Christel Khalil) dad, Neil (Kristoff St. John) opposed the romance.
Plus, the couple have had to overcome Lily’s battle with ovarian cancer, Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) presumed death and dangerous family ties, and Lily’s affair with Joe.
Now, they’re weathering another storm: Cane’s one-night stand with Juliet (Laur Allen) and subsequent pregnancy.
Can they overcome this, too? Here’s a look back at the supercouple’s best moments.

Happy Valentine’s Day
Hearts and flowers day 2008 marked a special moment for Cane and Lily. They shared a romantic night at the Genoa City Athletic Club and made love for the first time.
The next morning, Neil caught Cane leaving the couple’s love nest and was none too happy, but Cane assured him he was committed to Lily.
I Do, Take I
Following a couple of proposals, Lily finally said yes to Cane and they married in 2009. The bride wore her mother’s wedding gown, and the couple pledged their love exchanging wedding vows they’d written themselves.
Stand By Me
Although the revelation of Cane’s true identity (he was Ethan Atkinson, not Phillip Chancellor III) split the duo, they reconciled when Cane rushed to Lily’s side when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. His support and love guided Lily through the ordeal.
And “Babies” Make Four
Having harvested her eggs prior to undergoing a hysterectomy, Cane and Lily were thrilled when Mac agreed to be their surrogate. Their joy doubled upon learning Mac was carrying twins. Charlie and Matilda were born in 2010.
Back from the Dead
After Cane was “shot and killed” trying to stop Colin and Jill’s wedding, Lily began having visions of her “late” husband.
Cane revealed he had faked his demise and that his twin brother, Caleb, had died. Lily and Cane’s miraculous reunion was short lived. Lily felt betrayed and decided to divorce her husband.
I Do, Take II
Upon realizing that Cane had faked his death to protect her and their children from his family’s organized crime ties, Lily forgave her ex and they reconciled. The couple and their loved ones flew to France, where Cane and Lily remarried in 2012.
Missing You
Jill intervened and encouraged Cane and Lily to talk, after Lily had given up hope that Cane would ever forgive her affair with Joe (Scott Elrod).
The couple took their chat to a private room at the GCAC, where they admitted missing each other and made love in 2016.
