Dina is headed back to Genoa City, where there’s no love lost between her and the children she abandoned on The Young and the Restless (YR).
Ashley (Eileen Davidson), above all, has little use for her mother. After all, Dina (Marla Adams) lied to her for years about her biological father; namely, the fact that it wasn’t John, but her lover Brent Davis.
It threw Ashley’s life into a tailspin and broke John’s heart. So, the thought of reconnecting with mommy dearest has never been tops on Ashley’s to-do list.
With Dina back, do you think she’ll disappoint Ashley again? Here’s what fans had to say.
Yes, Mama Hasn’t Changed
The bulk of the 4500 fans who voted, some 94%, aren’t expecting anything new or good from Dina’s visit. She’s always been a self-centered woman, who puts her own well-being above everyone else’s — and that includes her children.
Ashley would be wise not to let Dina into her life in any way, shape, or form because she’ll only hurt and disappoint her again as she always does.
No, Dina’s Older, Wiser and Kinder
Meanwhile, 6% of you are hoping for better regarding Dina and her relationship with Ashley. Dina’s older and wiser, and you think that might translate into a kinder and more loving and nurturing woman.
You’d like to see Dina attempt to make amends with Ashley. The mother and daughter have been estranged for far too many years.
