Are We Ready For A Jack And Phyllis Redux On The Young And The Restless?

Before there was Phyllis and Billy there was Jack and Phyllis on The Young and the Restless. The fiery redhead and smilin’ Jack shared a tempestuous romance that drove story for years.

With Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy constantly squabbling, will Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis reunite? Soap Hub asked Y&R fans to weigh in on this possibility. Read on for the results!

This Time Around
An impressive 78% of you think that Jack and Phyllis will get together again. Viewers have seen Billy rush to Victoria’s side in light of her collapse at The Hilary Hour. That’s not going to go over well with Phyllis.

While she doesn’t want to see Vicki come to any harm, she’s probably wondering why her man have to be her rescuer every time something goes awry. But Billy’s a stand-up guy. He and Victoria share children together. He’s probably unaware of just how far his feelings for his ex go.

Given how jealous Jack’s been of Phyllis and Billy’s relationship, the senior Abbott will likely position himself to be in the perfect position when Phyllis needs a shoulder to cry on.

Jack Attack
Jack, however, may not be the winner in the Phyllis sweepstakes of love. A strong number of you, 22%, feel that Jack and Phyllis won’t end up back together.

Y&R has a history of taking couples that seemed destined to be together and pairing them with other soulmates down the line.

There was a time when viewers felt that Christine (aka Cricket) would be with Danny for the rest of her life, but she wound up with Paul.

Likewise, Paul appeared to be Lauren Fenmore’s OTP (One True Pairing), but, in time, Lauren found happiness with Michael Baldwin instead.

Time Will Tell
Even if Phyllis and Billy break up over his concern for Victoria, there’s no guarantee that Jack will reunite with Phyllis.

He’s been filled with jealousy over Phyllis and Billy, blaming his brother more than his ex.

But, perhaps Jack will want to make Phyllis pay for her betrayal, as well. Or, he’ll be so happy she’s available, he’ll welcome her back into his life. Stay tuned!
