Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) is known for killing off a character — then undoing it. There were the nine-(plus) lives of Stefano. There was Marlena’s death, which prompted fans to picket NBC — and then it turned out to really be her twin sister, Samantha.
And who remembers Melaswen, raise your hand! (Who wants to forget Melaswen ever happened? Raise your other hand?!)
So it really shouldn’t be that big of a surprise if Will, believed murdered by Ben and his collection of neckties, is still alive. Are fans on board with this story? Almost 8,000 gave us their honest opinion.
Pick Up the Pace
Will (Chandler Massey) coming back from the dead is fine — he’ll have plenty of company in Salem (Old Salem? Melasdlo?).
For 42% of you, though, the problem is with how slowly the story is unfolding. Is he? Isn’t he? Does Rolf know? Will Paul (Sean Christopher) and John (Drake Hogestyn) dig up the body.
Will Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) stop screaming randomly? Will anyone do anything to get to the answer? You got your hopes up when Sami (Allison Sweeney) returned to town.

Turn The Beat Around
It’s been great, contradict 38% of the audience. Every beat of the story has been timed perfectly to keep the tension high and frustration low. Why rush something this powerful?
You want to see everybody’s reaction, from Sonny (Freddie Smith) to Kate (Lauren Koslow) to Gabi (Camila Banus). It will only make Will’s return even more powerful!
Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other
Some parts are working, some parts aren’t, parse an even-handed 19%. Drama for Sonny and Paul is good. So are Kate’s confrontations with Andre (Thaao Penghlis). Sami is always a win.
But, Lucas, dude, tone it down a little. And brush your hair. What kid wants to come back to a dad who’s such a mess?
