Terrifying! Daniel Goddard Struck Down By Mystery Illness!

Daniel Goddard, of The Young and the Restless (YR), recently experienced a two-week long health nightmare that most people wouldn’t even wish on their worst enemy.

Goddard (Cane) spent the last two weeks bedridden due to a terrible bacterial infection. Obviously, he was unable to work during his recovery.

Thankfully, the actor took to Instagram to announce his return to Y&R and Genoa City.

“After being bed ridden with a bacterial infection for the last 2 weeks… it’s good to be back! #yr”

He has recovered from the infection and now will be able to get back to portraying Cane, and hopefully, the beleaguered Ashby will be able to somehow turn things around for himself and his family.

The good news for Goddard is he’s on the mend and his life is nothing like the life of the down-on-his-luck character he portrays! So far there is no word on if or how Goddard’s long absence will affect the storyline, but Soap Hub is glad he’s better and back at work.
