Could This Familiar Young and Restless Face From Jack’s Past Return?

Jack Abbott is one lonely guy these days, and The Young and the Restless isn’t giving us any promises that this might change any time soon. So if there is no one on the canvas currently who might send his heart pitter-pattering – Phyllis Summers so doesn’t count – the viewers have some strong opinions over who should return and pick up where they left off.

The Young and the Restless: Written In The Stars

Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) was a complete nutcase who fixated on her doctor – and then tried to kill the woman he married, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Jack (Peter Bergman) wasn’t aware of this when he and Leanna became involved, and he hired her to write Ruthless, an unauthorized autobiography of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

When Leanna wrote about Victor’s affair with Ashley, which led to her mental breakdown (which led to her needing the doctor whom she eventually married and who was responsible for Leanna coming to Genoa City in the first place – ah, the circle of soap life), Victor went into one of his famous tantrums, which ended with him taking Jabot away from Jack and John Abbott. Yet, 46% of you would like to see Leanna come back. It would at least give Jack *something* to do.

The Doctor Is In

Another shrink, another crazy person! Jack’s ex-wife, Patty (Stacy Haiduk), had plastic surgery to look like her psychiatrist, then drugged her in a mental institution and married Jack herself. When Emily Peterson finally proved who she was and got out, she told Jack she couldn’t really go back to him… since he hadn’t noticed he was married to an impostor for four months. She had a point then. But 32% of the audience thinks these two crazy kids deserve a second chance.

Father-Son Bond on The Young and the Restless

Oh, look, another looney! Mari Jo was romantically involved with Jack then – when he moved onto Luan – had an affair with Jack and Luan’s son, Keemo. Then, after Luan died, Mari Jo wanted Jack again. Then she shot Victor. We’re not sure why 22% of fans think it’d be nice to see her again.
