Who In The World Is Allie Nguyen On The Young and the Restless?

On The Young and the Restless, Allie Nguyen came to town after Diane Jenkins used her to introduce herself back to the Abbott family — especially her former love and her son’s father, Jack Abbott. But just who is Allie?

Young and the Restless Allie Nguyen Legacy?

Allie (Kelsey Wang) is connected to one of Genoa City’s most powerful families — the Abbotts. She’s the daughter of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) late son, Keemo Abbott. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), who had faked her own death, used Keemo’s death to lure Jack out to Los Angeles to meet Allie — his granddaughter — and reveal herself to him.

Fresh off graduate school with a degree in chemistry, eventually, Allie made her way to Genoa City. It’s no big surprise that she followed in her father’s footsteps and took an internship at Jabot in the lab. Her Aunt Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) felt like she had a knack for it just like Keemo.

In Genoa City, Allie found herself falling for the grandson of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), one of the city and world’s most powerful men. As Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) significant other, Allie has an even higher profile, especially given her status as a newcomer.

In her short time in town, Allie has proven herself to be savvy. She’s realized that several people want to use her for one reason or another. For instance, there’s Diane herself, but Allie learned her lesson well and isn’t interested in a repeat of what happened in Los Angeles.

Then, there’s Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who seemed to want to use Allie to figure out if Jack and Diane were getting closer, but Allie put the brakes on that possibility. Finally, even Aunt Ashley wasn’t smooth enough to fool Allie in the Diane department.

She’s nobody’s fool, and she’s nobody’s pawn these days, which makes us wonder where she learned all this. Was it from her late father Keemo? Or, did her MIA mother teach her these life lessons? One thing seems certain — there’s much more to Allie than we’ve seen so far and we can’t wait to learn more.
