Michael and Lauren were the latest guests to arrive at Cane Ashby’s French estate a few weeks ago. We haven’t seen them since. Fans of The Young and the Restless are sending out an S.O.S. They want to know what happened to the beloved couple. Did they end up in danger?
Surprising Invite
Cane (Billy Flynn) invited Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) to his exhausting maze course. This came as a shock to Y&R fans, who assumed they would be the last ones to be invited. The couple made their arrival on the June 24th episode.

Fans weren’t the only ones shocked by their last-minute invite. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who was already in a bad mood, complained that Michael no longer worked for Victor (Eric Braeden). She had no idea what other use they would have at this party.
Cane will do anything to get information on Victor, even if that means he seduces Lauren and makes her fall in love with him. Maybe she can offer him some intel that would finally get him to go up against the titan. But we haven’t seen Lauren and Michael since. Are they still hiding out at the French estate? Did they get lost in the maze? What happened to them?

Lost In The Maze?
Michael and Lauren would’ve been the perfect allies for Cane to have on his side. Because of them, he would’ve been able to take down Victor. They seemingly escaped the estate, even though no one else can get out. (Find out more about the great escape from the French estate.) On a recent episode, Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman) mentioned that they went to Europe for a second honeymoon.
Michael and Lauren have a lot to celebrate right now, like their wedding anniversary and the fact that they’re no longer tied to the Newmans. They should make the most of their newfound freedom while they can. Because they might find themselves enmeshed in their world once again.
