On The Young and the Restless, Chance Chancellor finally broke down and went to see a therapist. It was one Sharon Rosales recommended. She thought Chance would be more comfortable with a fellow veteran.

Chance (Conner Floyd) liked Dr. Huffman (Jeremiah Jahi). But we liked him even more. Here is why Genoa City needs to keep him around… permanently.

Y&R: Crazy Pants

Chance isn’t the only citizen who needs therapy. Every single other person who lives in the vicinity does, too. All of Dominic’s parents should come in for many, many group sessions. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is clearly working through something more than a podcast can fix. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is close to a breakdown after reading letters his estranged son wrote him prior to his death, and all of the Newman siblings – and parents – could use their heads shrunk on a regular basis.

The Young and the Restless: Man About Town

But, more importantly, Dr. Huffman is one sexy man. We are going to assume he’s single (Did you see a ring? We didn’t see a ring.) And we’re going to assume he’s straight. For storyline purposes only. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that…)

Think of all the women he could turn that gorgeous smile on. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) could finally stop writing about other people’s romances… and experience one of her own.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has always loved a man who could keep her on her toes intellectually.

Jill Foster (Jess Walton) could use a nice guy – we are assuming he’s nice in addition to all the other things above – after the way her last husband treated her.

Heck, even Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is ripe for getting her head turned by a man who isn’t obsessed with manipulating his children… and leaving her to clean up the mess. So what we’re saying to The Powers To Be is, “Please, please, please can we keep him?”
