Claire’s Aunt Jordan raised her to feel unloved, rejected, and overlooked by the Newmans on The Young and the Restless. Adam Newman grew up not even knowing he was a member of the Newman family. His feeling of being unloved, rejected, and overlooked happened when he met Victor. And Nikki. And Victoria and Nicholas. He’s got a huge chip on his shoulder. And an urge to make those who hurt him pay. Claire feels the same way. Could this lead to a vengeful uncle and niece team-up?

Yes, we’re assuming Claire (Hayley Erin) is the presumed dead Baby Eve. Otherwise, what would be the point of this whole story? Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) are willing to consider the possibility that she is their long-lost daughter. But Victor (Eric Braeden) refuses to consider the possibility, and whatever Victor says goes, so…. Enter Uncle Adam (Mark Grossman). He knows what it’s like to be dismissed by the Newmans. He can offer Claire a shoulder to cry on. And a plan to get back at those who hurt her. Between what Claire knows about the family and what Adam knows, they could be formidable opponents to the powerful family.

Three Makes a Family

And let’s not forget one more thing. Adam may be getting back together with Sally (Courtney Hope). Adam and Sally just lost a baby girl. They spent months dreaming of being a family. And here comes Claire, the little girl lost. No mother, no father, desperate for love and a family. She could fill a niche for Adam and Sally. They could fulfill a need from her. Not only would it be therapeutic for all of them, but imagine how it would infuriate the Newmans! That could be step one of their revenge plot. With so much more to come!
