On The Young and the Restless, February 17, Sally walked away from Billy. Up to this point, she held onto their relationship. She assured Billy that she still loved him, but she couldn’t put up with his selfishness anymore. However, their breakup could cost her everything she’s worked so hard for.

Key Takeaways

  • Billy gave Sally Abbott Communications.
  • She stayed with him because she would have complete control over the company.
  • On Tuesday’s episode, Sally walked away from Billy and everything they built.
  • Her future is now in Billy’s hands.

Sally Leaves Billy For Good?

Sally (Courtney Hope, who called Sally and Adam’s romance “special and unique”) awkwardly walked into Billy’s (Jason Thompson) argument with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Nick warned her that she was wasting her life by being with him before leaving the apartment.

Sally informed Billy that she ran into Adam (Mark Grossman) at GCAC, and he told her the same thing. Billy claimed the Newmans were trying to destroy him since he stole Chancellor. He apologized for what he said the night before, and was glad that she was still there.

But Sally had to make a big decision. She told Billy that she was packing her stuff and moving out. Billy assured her that he didn’t mean what he said the night before, but Sally wouldn’t hear it anymore.

She could tell that Billy meant every word that he said. His words cut deep. He lied to her about what he wants: Chancellor. That’s the driving factor that has interfered with their relationship.

Billy argued there’s nothing wrong with being ambitious. His dream just fell into his hands. Sally told him that he’s blinded by success and has lost sight of her. They were done.

Will Sally Lose It All?

The reason why Sally stayed with Billy for so long up to this point is that he gave her Abbott Communications to run. She told him that there was no coming back from this. Billy said that he wanted it all, but for her, he was enough. Sally apologized that she couldn’t be the same for him.

She could end up losing it all. On Wednesday’s episode, Sally appoints Audra (Zuleyka Silver) as co-CEO of Abbott Communications. But as we all know, these two can’t have nice things.

Once they get their taste of success, it’s ripped out from underneath them. Billy is on a war path. He’s lost everyone in his orbit, and he’s likely to scramble to get revenge on all of them, including Sally.

He’ll blame the Newmans for their relationship ending rather than take accountability. And he’ll retain control of Abbott Communications again, just so he can get his family back. Once again, Sally will be left with nothing.
