Only One Woman is Right for Y&R’s Daniel Romalotti

Daniel Romalotti hasn’t been back on The Young and the Restless for all that long, but he’s already got two women fighting for him — even if they don’t realize they’re doing it. Daniel admitted he’d been through some pretty rough times. Who is the woman to ensure he never returns to that dark place?

Daniel Romalotti: Out With the Old, In With the New

Both women currently on Daniel’s radar are from his past. Lily (Christel Khalil) is the teen love with whom he went on the run and shared many exciting, breathtaking, youthful adventures. Heather (Vail Bloom) is the one he built a home and a life with and raised his daughter.

Has Daniel considered the possibility that both relationships have run their course? Maybe what he needs is someone completely new. With whom to make completely new mistakes.

Best for the Children

Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) would like her mom and dad to reunite. Maybe that should be good enough for Daniel. He obviously adores his daughter. And, he admits he was the one who screwed up their family, not Heather. So he owes it to both of them to make up for his breaking their hearts. Until that situation is resolved, he has no right to think about anything — or anyone — else.

What Should Have Been

Lily and Daniel never got a fair shot at being together. Something was always getting in the way. Like, you know, murder charges. Their early years were such high drama that they never got the chance to see if they could work just as a regular couple.

Now Lily is single. And, Daniel is single. Lily’s kids are in college. Daniel’s daughter is almost ready for the same. Now things are finally calm. They can finally see what being a normal couple would be like. They deserve that chance.
