Y&R’s Lily Will Fight For Daniel

Lily and Daniel couldn’t make it work when they were teenagers on The Young and the Restless. Both went off to form other families, her with Cane and their twins, and him with Heather and Lucy. Then, last year, fate threw Lily and Daniel back into each other’s orbits, and they decided to give love a second chance. But a family emergency called Lily away from Genoa City, and a bored Daniel fell into bed with Heather because, well, she was there. Daniel is ready to tell Lily the truth. Will she fight for her man — this time?

Best for Last

Lily (Christel Khalil) adores Mattie and Charlie, but we bet there are days she regrets ever laying eyes on Cane (Daniel Goddard). Lily doesn’t want to have any more regrets. This is a woman who has beaten cancer. She knows life is short. Now that she and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) are reunited, she will fight for him with everything she’s got. So as not to make the same mistake a second time.

Lily walked away from Billy (Jason Thompson) when she saw that he was more into having a toxic relationship with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) than a healthy one with her, and she’s bound to feel the same way about Daniel.

If he wants Heather (Vail Bloom), then he should be with Heather. This is a woman who has beaten cancer. She knows life is short. Trying to get a man to want her who doesn’t want her isn’t worth Lily’s valuable time.

Meet Me Halfway

The only reason Lily might even put in a token effort is if Daniel suggests she’s really who he wants to be with, and that sleeping with Heather was just a “slip.” But once she sees that it’s actually more serious than that, she’ll likely walk away. She knows she can do better.
