What he should really do is butt out and leave Claire alone.

On The Young and the Restless, October 23, Kyle found a way to insert himself into the latest Newman drama. He followed Claire all the way to Los Angeles, which is one of the stunts he pulled. Kyle and Claire found out about Noah’s car accident. And Kyle, being Kyle, had to find out if Holden was involved somehow.

Key Takeaways

  • Noah is in an induced coma due to severe swelling in his brain.
  • Holden is friends with Sienna, who also knows Noah.
  • Kyle had to get to the bottom of this mystery in order to appear like the good guy in this situation.
  • He should butt out since this has nothing to do with him.

Star-Crossed Lovers No More

Claire (Hayley Erin) dumped Kyle (Michael Mealor) after he didn’t tell the truth about what happened in Nice. He made out with Audra (Zuleyka Silver), who tried to seduce him since Victor (Eric Braeden) put her up to the task.

Claire wasn’t sure what to do. She’s a young woman in her first serious relationship. Ultimately, she had to end things with Kyle, who hadn’t taken it well. He took it upon himself to follow her to Los Angeles since he couldn’t trust Holden (Nathan Owens).

Kyle Takes On a New Role

On Thursday’s episode, Kyle found himself in a new role. He walked onto the patio and saw Holden and Sienna (Tamara Braun—here’s what you need to know about her) having an intense conversation. Claire saw his reaction and informed him about Sienna and Holden’s friendship.

She reminded Kyle that he was supposed to leave her alone. But instead of going back to Genoa City, he’s inserting himself in the Newmans’ drama involving Noah (Lucas Adams).

Nick (Joshua Morrows) joined them to inform them that Noah is in the hospital. Kyle mentioned that Sienna and Holden are old friends, but they didn’t seem particularly friendly.

After everyone left, Kyle sat down at one of the tables. He enjoyed his breakfast while investigating “The Shadow Room” on his phone. He learned that it was owned by Sienna and her husband, Mitch Bacall.

He also noticed Sienna’s photo, but didn’t see Mitch’s photo anywhere. Now, he thinks he should take on this case because he has something to prove. Kyle wants to prove to Claire that Holden isn’t to be trusted.

Why He Shouldn’t Get Involved

Kyle told Claire that he’ll finally take her suggestion to heart and head back home to Genoa City. She doesn’t have to worry about him bothering her anymore.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s done. Kyle’s going to continue sleuthing from home. Kyle doesn’t get along with the Newmans, and not all of them are fond of him because he’s an Abbott.

They don’t need his involvement. He’s only trying to win Claire back, and it could backfire. Unless Claire is in danger, he should butt out and mind his own business. (Find out why Michael Mealor isn’t giving up on a Kyle/Claire reunion.)
