The Young and the Restless has seen multiple villains turn into heroes. There was Jill, there was Victor, there was Jack, there was Phyllis, there was Lauren, there was Michael, there was Kevin, there was Adam, there was Summer. The list goes on and on. Is it Jordan’s turn now to get the forgive and forget treatment?

Stay Just a Little Bit Longer, Aunt Jordan

Oh, Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk), we barely knew you (but read what Zenk had to say on the subject here)! We still don’t know why you did what you did. If Claire (Haley Erin) is about to be served a get-out-of-jail card (literally) due to her mental issues, why shouldn’t Jordan be afforded the same? Maybe she was horribly mistreated by her sister, Eve (Margaret Mason)? And as Victor (Eric Braeden) will be the first to tell you, childhood abuse excuses EVERYTHING.

Let the Groveling Begin

It doesn’t matter if every single person in Genoa City forgives Jordan. If you ain’t got Victor’s seal of approval, you’ve got nothing. Which means Jordan is going to have to put in a lot of work before getting her unofficial pardon. She needs to confess all to Victor. She needs to accept all blame to Victor. She needs to make amends to Victor — in whatever manner Victor deems fit. And then the groveling. So much groveling. Maybe then he’ll consider allowing her to live her life as flawlessly as he lives his.

Crazy Is as Crazy Does

But if Jordan can’t make the above happen, then she is to be written off as yet another lunatic not worthy of understanding or forgiveness. The woman didn’t love the Newmans! Is there a greater symptom of mental illness than that? We can’t think of one. The fact that she refused to listen to Victor’s orders that she stop her criminality immediately — “you got that?” — proves she is not fit for polite society. She can apologize until the cows come home, but she is barking up the wrong Mustache.
