Now that Elena Dawson has finally accepted that Nate is cheating on her on The Young and the Restless, a stern talking-to just isn’t going to get the job done, if what she really wants is revenge.

Sure, Elena (Brytni Sarpy) can yell at Nate (Sean Dominic) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Elena can scheme with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to bring J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) to Genoa City. But those are short-term solutions. And they don’t offer nearly enough suffering. If Elena really wants Nate and Victoria to suffer, she can try one — or all — of these three things.

Victoria is sleeping with her subordinate. Nick already pointed it out to her. But Victoria didn’t think it would be a problem. Elena can make it a problem. Elena can go to Human Resources at Newman Enterprises and tearfully explain how her boyfriend is being forced to sleep with his boss or risk losing his job. Nate is too frightened to confess, but Elena is here to bravely do it for him. So please investigate in detail. Oh, and ignore Nate when he says it isn’t true. Victoria is making him say it, you see?

Pregnancy as a way to keep a man is an oldie but a goodie for a reason. You know how Elena is always sleepy? Let’s give her a reason for that, too. Or at least proof when Nate demands it. Elena can tell Nate she’s pregnant and will be moving out of town to raise the baby on her own unless he breaks up with Victoria and quits his job. Nate was the subject of a custody battle as a tyke. He wouldn’t want to do that to any child of his.

Audra is offering to help Elena hold onto Nate. Well, if she’s such a good pal, why not seduce Nate? Let’s face it. The dude is pretty easy to seduce. Will Victoria still want Nate once she learns he cheated on her? How dare he! Victoria would have never taken up with Nate if she thought he was the sort of man who would cheat on a woman he claims to be committed to.
