Mariah Troubles Tessa’s Mind

At Crimson Lights, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) spoke to Daniel (Michael Graziadei) about her complicated situation involving Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She grew close to him because her wife distanced herself. She left Tessa and Aria behind and didn’t look back.

Tessa felt guilty for what happened. Maybe Mariah wouldn’t have kidnapped Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark) if she had fought for her. Daniel expressed guilt for what happened. He was there to support Tessa while Mariah was away. He took things too far.

Daniel felt Tessa’s guilt was his fault. She disagreed. Rather, she appreciated the moments that they shared together. Because of him, she felt safe and seen. At first, it seemed like Tessa was closing a chapter on their brief romance.

Tessa’s Difficult Decision

Mariah was found safe and sound. Tessa was glad to hear this news. However, she couldn’t deny her feelings for Daniel. In a funny way, Mariah’s distance brought them closer together.

She left Mariah not only because she pulled away, but because she opened her heart to someone else. Daniel was relieved to know that Tessa still wanted to be with him, no matter what happened to Mariah.

He apologized for taking advantage of Mariah’s situation to get closer to Tessa. He already knew that he had feelings for Tessa by that point. But refused to apologize for her actions.

She knew what she was doing throughout their journey together. Tessa waited for Mariah to return home, but she couldn’t wait anymore. And she can’t wait for Mariah to recover so she can take her back.

Daniel was there for her when Mariah wasn’t. Now, Mariah might go to prison for what she did. This gives Tessa and Daniel the space they need to explore their relationship.
