The Young and the Restless Ashland
Victoria Newman Locke finally shared her devious plan for catching Ashland Locke in a lie on The Young and the Restless. Victoria will convince Ashland that she believes he is innocent of faking his illness and trying to stop Michael Baldwin from spilling the beans about it.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will then convince Ashland (Robert Newman) that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the one behind the frame-up. Adam will go along, right? Right, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) says. Uhm…right, Adam says.
But what if Ashland is telling the truth? What if he really is being framed, and what if all of his shady-seeming actions since then have been his attempt to figure out who is doing it — and why? And what if the person behind the frame-up is….
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)? Now hear us out, folks, hear us out. We’ve got the Young and the Restless evidence right here…same as when Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) staged that intervention for Victoria.
So far, most of the evidence against Ashland has been dug up on computers and in files, regular people aren’t supposed to access. You know who is really good with computers? Phyllis is!
And as for Michael’s (Christian Le Blanc) arrest in South America, even he was surprised by how easy it was for him to escape and how nobody tracked him. You know why? Because Phyllis was looking out for her bosom buddy, that’s why! Michael was just a pawn all along.
But why would Phyllis do this, you may ask? How about because it was his family’s conflict over Ashland in Italy that drove Phyllis and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) to break up yet again? Phyllis does not take rejection well. She set up all of this to prove that she was right, and the Newmans were wrong. That’ll show them who the smartest person in Genoa City is!
