On The Young and the Restless, March 18, Billy’s dreams came to a halt. He found out that Victor now owns Chancellor Industries. His desire to restore his family’s legacy crumbled. Now, he’s being forced to navigate his relationship with his mother, which could change the game.

Key Takeaways

  • Billy makes a last-minute plea to take over Chancellor Industries.
  • He believes he’s the only one who can restore the company’s legacy.
  • Despite Billy’s pleas, Phyllis remains steadfast in her decision to hand Chancellor Industries back to Victor.
  • Billy considered speaking to his mother, which could impact his future.

Billy Loses Chancellor Industries… Again

On Wednesday’s episode, Billy (Jason Thompson) visited Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) at the CEO’s office at Newman Enterprises. He informed her that Jack (Peter Bergman) returned home because of him, along with Diane (Susan Walters) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). But he found out that Phyllis had already returned Chancellor to Victor. Billy questioned her decision.

In Billy’s eyes, it wasn’t necessary. Phyllis changed the subject and asked how they had managed to find Jack. Billy said they found Jack, whom Victor (Eric Braeden) held hostage.

Billy wanted to have Chancellor Industries in his hands. Phyllis informed her that she had already signed the company over to Victor. She did it for Billly because Victor told her that Jack was in danger. But now, Billy has lost Chancellor once again.

Will Billy Finally Say Goodbye to His Mom?

Later, Billy spoke to Sally (Courtney Hope) at Society. He informed her that Jack was physically well, but Diane (Susan Walters, who wants a juicy storyline for Diane and Patty) had walked out on him the other night. Sally couldn’t understand how Jack could cheat on his wife.

Then, Billy mentioned that Phyllis handed over Chancellor Industries to Victor. It was now under Newman’s control once again. While Sally was sorry for Billy, she was confident he could get a fresh start.

Sally told Billy to think about his future. Perhaps take some time and visit his sick mom, Jill (Jess Walton), in London.
