2024 hasn’t been kind to Sharon. For much of the year, she’s struggled with bipolar disorder. Now, she’s coming to grips with the truth behind her mental health on The Young and the Restless. We would love to see a positive storyline for Sharon in the new year. Here are some things that we’d love to see happen in 2025.
Redemption Arc
First things first. It’s time for Sharon’s (Sharon Case) redemption arc. We know that it’s coming. It’s only a matter of time. Even Sharon’s fiercest fans knew there were holes in this murder mystery. Finally, the pieces are coming together.
Sharon wasn’t responsible for Heather’s (Vail Bloom). But the viewers did witness some things unfold. Sharon took her body and dumped it into the lake. Was that really her? Or was she just hallucinating?
So far, we know that crazy Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) were behind this. They were the ones who murdered Heather and crashed into Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) vehicle. This is great news for Sharon and the residents of Genoa City.
However, it’s not great news for the Newmans. Jordan is tirelessly plotting her revenge. Hopefully, this storyline and Jordan’s shenanigans will end. Sharon needs to take care of her mental health and process what’s happened to her.

Shick Reunion
It’s only a matter of time before Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) reunite. Keep in mind she was hallucinating when she saw Nick as her knight in shining armor. However, this could suggest that some part of her is still in love with Nick.
It seems like he cares about Sharon as well. Nick has been her biggest supporter. He’s done everything he can to keep his family intact during this difficult time. What better way to end this storyline on a high note?
Maybe it’s time to revisit Shick’s relationship. Of course, when Sharon is truly happy and healthy. Maybe they can pick up where they left off. Both of them have done self-reflecting on their past relationships. Fans would love to see whether they could make it work in their older years. Girl Boss
Sharon enjoyed running Crimson Lights for years. Then, she learned that she inherited Cameron’s (Linden Ashby) business. She wanted to flip it and turn it into a positive venture. She tried to become a business mogul, but it didn’t work out. This is probably because Sharon wanted to work alongside Nick and Adam (Mark Grossman), who couldn’t agree on anything. We should revisit this story in late 2025.
Sharon could find a way to quash Cameron’s memory once and for all. She could launch a corporation that has morals and integrity. It would be fun for fans to finally see Sharon get her “girl boss” moment. Maybe she can successfully launch it on her own at first. Once it grows, she can hire the right people under her, like Moriah (Camry Grimes).
