A good number of folks have left The Young and the Restless recently. Which means it’s time for an equal – or even larger – number to come home. Who are fans missing the most – and who will add intrigue and drama to Genoa City? Here’s what you told us!
The Young and the Restless: The Mother Of All Mothers
Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) was a pretty terrible mother to both sons Phillip Chancellor and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but she was quite the presence in Genoa City, and it’s unfair that she is no longer around to cause trouble. With grandson Chance presumed dead – for the time being – now is the ideal time for her to come home – and lash out at everyone she blames for allowing this to happen. We can imagine Jill tearing into Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), and both Daddy Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Uncle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) swooping in to defend her. Let the games begin!
Stay Put
And speaking of swooping into town, The Young and the Restless’s Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is here to support Abby, but she can do more than just hold her daughter’s hand and offer to make sandwiches. (What Abbott knows how to make their own sandwiches?) She is still a beautiful, dynamic and sexy woman. And, hey, just how long do we expect Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to stay faithful to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), 38% wonder? Now that he’s got her company, shouldn’t he have his eye on the next one?
The Missing Piece
Nina (Tricia Cast) is also mourning Chance. She’ll get over it once he inevitably turns up alive. And then 16% want her to stick around. Nina has always wanted Christine Blair’s (Lauralee Bell) men. And if she’s still so inclined, this could be a great opportunity to bring Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) back as well.
