The Young and the Restless fans were shocked to see Aunt Jordan back in Genoa City. They assumed she was gone for good. There are questions as to whether she will become a full-time cast member. Colleen Zenk recently answered one of the fans’ burning questions. She shared the details of her shocking appearance.
Crazy Aunt Jordan Is Back
Just when Claire (Hayley Erin) thinks it’s safe to move forward, her crazy aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is back in town. On the Thursday, November 14th episode of Y&R, she entered a hotel room. Ian (Ray Wise) was there waiting for her.
She told him that the job “is done,” whatever that means. Ian responded, “Wonderful,” with a smile on his face. What these two are doing and why they’re working together is unclear.
Jordan never sleeps. She works harder than Victor (Eric Braeden). Does he even know that she’s on the loose? It’ll be interesting to see what happens next.

Zenk Talks About Her Appearance
Zenk caught wind of the questions with her appearance. Some fans wondered if this was a last-minute decision thrown into the script, while others accused the show of picking favorites.
One fan snarked, “This is what happens when Josh Griffith lets others play in his sandbox.” This was a reference to the return of Edward J. Scott as the soap’s senior producer after he spent 14 years at Y&R’s sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful.
Zenk set the record straight about her character’s appearance. “Actually. This was in the works a long time ago… But, I love Ed Scott. He has brought a new/old look to Y&R…” she replied on X (formerly Twitter).
Fans hope for more action and want the soap to return to its roots. Y&R also brought back the original Newman Ranch in time for the 13,000th episode. What’s new is old again. Some of your favorites also returned to the soap in time for Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) and Devon’s (Bryton James) wedding. The show will keep fans on their toes with the twists and turns that come.
It’ll be interesting to see if Zenk is involved with Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford—Who Took Fans Behind The Scenes) car wreck. What are your thoughts on Aunt Jordan’s appearance? Are you surprised to learn that her appearance was in the works for a while? Let us know in the comment section.
