For fans of the Young and the Restless, news that actor Darnell Kirkwood has been cast as photographer Jordan Wilde is awfully exciting! However, when the actor’s mom saw the news, she was over the moon!
In an Instagram post, Kirkwood wrote, “My mom went crazy seeing her son on a press release for being cast on the number one soap in the US!” How exciting would that be for any parent?
How exciting would that be for any parent? She certainly should be thrilled to see her son join the extremely talented cast on daytime’s number one show!
The actor himself is certainly excited about his new gig too. He tweeted, “Had fun shooting on set today! Got to say, I’m enjoying my day job! (Pun intended).”
