[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he “Young and the Restless” star Greg Rikaart has heated up the screen of Y&R since 2003 as bad boy Kevin Fisher. Fans have watched Kevin grow from a young adult to a stellar man during his run on the iconic soap.

5. His Very First Television Role
In 1999, Rikaart had a one-episode bit part on “Felicity” as an art student. While the role isn’t very memorable, it did get him in the door for bigger and better things that lay ahead.
4. Heating Up in Teen Drama
Rikaart was picked up for the recurring role of David in the hit show “Dawson’s Creek.” His part included a seven-episode run that lasted from 2002-2003.
3. Politically Minded
Rikaart spent a semester in Washington, D.C working as an intern on Capitol Hill during his time at Villanova University. The actor graduated with honors before following his true passion–acting.
2. A Very Happily Married Man
Rikaart married his long-time boyfriend, Robert Sudduth in 2015. The gorgeous beachside wedding was the talk of soap fans for weeks! The couple works tirelessly for LGBTI rights all over the country as outspoken advocates in the gay community.

It’s not surprising that in a mere two years after joining Y&R that Rikaart won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Since his 2005 win, multiple publications have hailed him as the next King of Daytime Soaps.
